I am a former co-director of DMG, a space for queer and gender-marginalized people to create games freely. At DMG, I focused on becoming an equitable leader, an advocate for growth and safety, and a community organizer. My goal was to help develop a collaborative community of empowered creators and to address systemic barriers that have kept marginalized devs out of the industry.
In addition to my former work at DMG, I’ve also been an active participant in many community and industry-focused events, including being a mentor in a variety of mentorship programs, being on event programming committees, serving as a jury member, and being an advisor for GDC’s Indie Game Summit.
Below are some highlights of my community volunteer work.
